So with The War Within, we’re heading beneath Azeroth into vast underground zones—and while that sounds cool on paper, I’m wondering how people are really feeling about it.
Personally, I’m torn. The idea of exploring ancient, hidden civilizations and dangerous subterranean environments is exciting. But I also worry about visual variety and zone fatigue. If it’s all caves and tunnels, will it start feeling claustrophobic fast?
What’s your take?
Do you like the idea of a mostly underground expansion?
What would make those zones feel alive and distinct instead of just “more caves”?
Would you rather see a mix of underground and surface zones?
This could be a totally new vibe for WoW—or just a dimly lit Shadowlands 2.0. Let’s hear your thoughts!
